This notice explains what happens to your email address if you sign up for updates about Altered Inferno. It is written to be read, not to be endured.
Who we are
Rocksword Games info@rockswordgames.com. We are the data controller. You can reach us at privacy@rockswordgames.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The date and time you signed up, and the version of this notice you accepted.
- A truncated IP address — the last part is removed, so it cannot identify you precisely. We keep it only as evidence of consent and to limit abuse.
Nothing else. No name, no tracking, no profiling, no advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
To send you occasional updates about the development and release of Altered Inferno. Nothing else. We do not send anything unrelated.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the signup form.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after the last email you opened or clicked — whichever comes first. After that your address is deleted.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A., stores the data on servers in Italy. If we later move the list to an email platform such as Buttondown or Mailchimp, this notice will be updated before that happens.
We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it, or delete it
- withdraw your consent at any time
- receive your data in a portable format
Write to privacy@rockswordgames.com and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe here at any time, or simply reply to any of our emails asking to be removed.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not shown a banner.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will email everyone on the list before the change takes effect. The version number at the top tells you which text you agreed to.
